Asking questions about the community is a really great way to learn a lot about how life works there. We may ask questions such as:

• What roles do women play in the community vs. men?
• What roles do children play in the community vs. adults?
• Are there any cultural beliefs limiting what jobs women can do?
• Is there one person in charge of the entire community?
